As we approach August, we are at a crossroad, we can still prepare for a Summer Wedding, or begin planning for a Fall Wedding, so now is the perfect time to make your final decisions, however, don’t delay placing your orders early, because you need to ensure your favorite Wedding Flowers will be ready when you need them most. Waiting till the last moment may cause you to settle for varieties that are available, and not necessarily your dream Flowers.

August is a great time to get married. According to Lily and Lime, “A wedding in August is an absolute delight. The summer is still blooming just as strong, but there is a definite mellow vibe to the month and provides the most beautiful shades for couples to play with. August, a late summer month still with Flowers in bloom, offers some of the brightest color palettes for brides.”

This will conclude our summer series on the best Flowers For Wedding and we hope this has been helpful in your wedding planning. So let’s conclude our with our final best flowers.

Flower Number 15 – Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea Flower is a popular choice. According to Brides, “When it comes to florals for your wedding, there are so many options to choose from. Will you go bold, or will you opt for a more sweet and supple option? But with certain seasons, comes a few favorites, and sweet peas are definitely at the top of the list for spring. It’s not surprising so many couples adore sweet peas. Sweet peas are ruffly, romantic, fragrant, and they come in a variety of colors, ranging from white to coral pink to purple, and just about every shade in between. Plus, the blooms look lovely arranged on their own, but they also look great mixed with other springtime blossoms. They can be incorporated into sweet pea bouquets, used in centerpieces, or even used to adorn a cake—the perfect addition to a spring time wedding.”

Flower Number 16 – Alstroemeria

Alstroemeria Flower is another personal favorite of mine. They come in several different colors and are not overpowering in a Floral Arrangement. They also make great Wedding Flowers. Bride and Blossom has this to say about them, “we are often asked about filler flowers – the background blooms that help bring a wedding bouquet or centerpiece to life. One of our favorites for late summer/early fall is the alstroemeria, also known as the Peruvian Lily. With three to five blooms per stem, spotted petals, and an exotic look, it has a bit more character than other fillers. Color availability ranges from white and blush to unique bi-colors to vibrant orange, pink, red, and purple.”

Flower Number 17 – Amaranthus

Amaranthus Flower is an excellent Filler and excellent for Cascading Bouquets. It is one of the most popular Wedding Flowers for Fall. One Fab Day says this about them, “Amaranthus also known as amaranth, tassel flower, velvet flower or foxtail amaranth is a fantastic versatile bloom which can be used in everything from cascading bouquets and centerpieces to breathtaking tassels in ceremony arches and installations due to its pretty pink trailing ends. I fell deeply in love with this rich-toned plant (which also comes in green) when doing some arrangements for our engagement party a while back so was inspired to create a full, pretty pink, Amaranthus Inspired Wedding Palette around it.”
