Care & Handling

Care & Handling For Burgundy Ranunculus

  • Hydration: Upon arrival, unwrap immediately and place stems in cool, clean water for at least 2–3 hours. Burgundy Ranunculus are thirsty and hydrate slowly.

  • Trimming: Cut stems at a 45° angle under running water. Use clean floral shears to avoid stem damage and improve water intake.

  • Storage: Store in a floral cooler or cool room (36–48°F). Avoid direct sunlight or high humidity, which can cause petal darkening or mold.

  • Refresh: Change water daily and remove any fading outer petals. Ranunculus benefit from clean water to maintain bloom integrity.

  • Special Tip: Allow blooms to open in room temperature conditions before arranging. Keep some buds in reserve to extend vase life for events lasting several days.
