This Fern has many different variations and names, which are known as Asparagus Asparagoides, Asparagus Densiflorus, Similax Asparagus Fern, as well as many other names. This is somewhat of a woody plant with erect or trailing, ridged and slightly spiny stems. Their origin is South Africa and is widely used by florists and floral designers as foliage for arrangements, and even hanging baskets. How Is Asparagus Used In Flower Arrangements? They are great to use as Filler in vase arrangements and Bridal Bouquets. They have a vase life of around 6 to 14 days. This species looks wonderful with Red Flowers.
