Designing Tips

Designing Tips: Peach Yarrow, White Peonies, Peach Roses and Seeded Eucalyptus

1. Create a Color Flow:

Start with white peonies as focal blooms for their bold vibrancy, then layer in peach roses to soften the palette. Use Peach Yarrow Achillea to bridge the tones—its soft clusters tie coral and peach together beautifully.

2. Add Texture and Volume:

Peach Yarrow adds delicate, airy volume that enhances the overall fullness without overwhelming the focal flowers. It helps fill gaps naturally, giving a garden-style look.

3. Use Seeded Eucalyptus Wisely:

Incorporate Seeded Eucalyptus around the edges and trailing from bouquets or centerpieces to add contrast and movement. The muted green also grounds the warm tones.

4. Balance Placement:

For bouquets, group flowers in thirds: 1/3 focal (peonies), 1/3 supporting (roses), and 1/3 filler/greenery (yarrow + eucalyptus). Keep stems spiraled for a professional finish.

5. Best Uses:

Perfect for bridal bouquets, low centerpieces, or aisle decor. Works beautifully in rustic, boho, or romantic themes.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
