Tips to Decorate

Tips to Arrange Luxurious Fresh Dark Pink Orange Rose Bouquet

  1. Select the Perfect Vase: Choose a sleek, elegant vase that complements the vibrant colors of the roses. Clear glass or metallic finishes often work beautifully.
  2. Trim the Stems: Cut the stems at a diagonal angle to allow better water absorption. Ensure the lengths vary slightly to create a natural, cascading effect.
  3. Remove Extra Leaves: Strip the lower leaves that fall below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth and keep the bouquet fresh longer.
  4. Add Greenery and Fillers: Incorporate lush greenery, such as eucalyptus or ferns, to add depth and texture. Baby’s breath or small white blooms can be used for a softer, romantic touch.
  5. Layer the Colors: Arrange the dark pink and orange roses alternately to create a striking and balanced combination. Grouping similar shades together can also create a gradient effect.
  6. Secure the Arrangement: Use floral tape or wire to hold the bouquet together if it’s being handheld. For vases, gently fluff and adjust the stems to achieve the desired fullness.
  7. Hydrate and Refresh: Place the finished bouquet in fresh, cool water and add floral preservative. Recut stems and change water every two days to maintain vibrancy.
  8. Enhance with Accessories: Consider adding satin ribbons, pearl pins, or decorative charms for special occasions like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day.

Care

Care and Handling for Luxurious Fresh Dark Pink and Orange Rose Bouquet

  1. Unpack Immediately: Upon receiving your bouquet, gently remove the packaging to avoid bruising the petals. Handle the flowers delicately to preserve their pristine condition.
  2. Trim the Stems: Using sharp, clean scissors or garden shears, cut 1-2 inches off the stems at a 45-degree angle to improve water absorption.
  3. Prepare the Water: Fill a clean vase with fresh, cool water and add the included floral preservative. This helps nourish the roses and prolong their life.
  4. Avoid Harsh Conditions: Keep the bouquet away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts. Extreme temperatures can cause the flowers to wilt or fade prematurely.
  5. Replenish Regularly: Change the water every two days and recut the stems to maintain optimal hydration. Remove any leaves that fall below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.
  6. Use a Mister: Lightly mist the petals with water daily to keep them fresh and hydrated, particularly in dry or air-conditioned environments.
  7. Display Strategically: Place the bouquet in a prominent but secure location where it can be admired while being shielded from potential damage.

Proper care will ensure your luxurious bouquet remains vibrant and beautiful for as long as possible, making it the perfect centerpiece for weddings, events, or romantic celebrations like Valentine’s Day.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
