Designing Tips

Cushion pom mums are versatile, long-lasting, and extremely budget-friendly — making them ideal for weddings, events, and large installations.

Use Them for Texture & Fullness

Tinted cushion poms add rich dimension to:

  • Ceremony arches
  • Reception centerpieces
  • Large floral runners
  • Floral walls
  • Sweetheart tables

Their round, textured bloom creates volume without overwhelming your design.

Perfect for Statement Color Moments

Because they are tinted, they’re ideal when you need:

  • Exact palette matching
  • Bold color accents
  • Dramatic monochrome arrangements
  • Jewel-tone or sunset-inspired weddings

Budget-Friendly Filler with Impact

Use cushion poms to:

  • Replace more expensive focal blooms in large installs
  • Create lush bridesmaid bouquets
  • Fill large urn arrangements
  • Design aisle markers on a budget

Pair With Softer Blooms for Balance

Since tinted blooms are vibrant, balance them with:

  • Neutral roses
  • White lisianthus
  • Cream stock
  • Soft greenery

This keeps the arrangement elevated and wedding-appropriate.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
