Product Description

Brighten your floral designs with the stunning Frida Yellow Rose, a premium rose variety known for its golden, sun-kissed petals and large, elegant bloom. Named after the iconic artist Frida Kahlo, this rose brings a joyful, artistic flair to any arrangement. Available in bulk at wholesale prices, Frida roses are ideal for weddings, special events, and high-end floral gifts where beauty, warmth, and symbolism matter most.

Their vibrant color symbolizes happiness, friendship, and optimism, making them a perfect choice for spring and summer weddings, baby showers, corporate events, or even celebration-of-life ceremonies. Whether you’re a florist designing large installations or a DIY bride curating her dream bouquet, Frida roses provide reliable performance, bold color, and graceful form.

Pair them with softer tones like ivory and peach for a romantic aesthetic, or contrast them with purples and greens for bold, contemporary designs. Their long stems and robust heads make them ideal for everything from centerpieces and aisle décor to flower crowns and statement bouquets.

Choose Whole Blossoms for farm-fresh roses delivered straight to your door, so you can design with confidence and consistency. Add Frida to your palette and let your arrangements bloom with radiant personality.

Designing Tips

Designing Tips from Whole Blossoms:

The Frida Yellow Rose is a radiant choice for floral designers looking to capture the warmth of sunshine, joy, and celebration in their arrangements.

  • Ideal for summer and spring weddings, Frida roses can be paired with peach garden roses, white stock, or yellow ranunculus for lush bridal bouquets.
  • Use as the primary bloom in sunflower-free yellow-themed centerpieces to achieve a more refined, romantic aesthetic.
  • For rustic events, pair with billy balls (craspedia) and wax flower in wooden or ceramic vessels to balance vibrant and earthy elements.
  • In elegant settings, arrange Frida roses with ivory lisianthus and gold-painted eucalyptus for a soft, regal look.
  • Incorporate in flower walls, arches, or aisle markers to bring brightness and visual cohesion to garden or beach venues.

Their vibrant color and classic shape make them versatile for both bold and delicate compositions.

Care & Handling

Care & Handling from Whole Blossoms:

  • Recut each stem at a 45° angle using clean, sharp shears immediately after unpacking.
  • Place stems in a clean container filled with lukewarm water and a floral preservative solution.
  • Store in a cooler at 36–43°F and allow 4–8 hours of hydration before arranging.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, drafts, or exposure to ethylene-producing fruit during storage.
  • Remove any foliage below the waterline to prevent bacterial buildup.
  • Gently remove outer guard petals to reveal the freshest inner bloom.
  • Handle blooms with clean, dry hands to avoid bruising the delicate yellow petals.
  • Use immediately upon opening for tight arrangements, or allow to open further for looser, garden-style designs.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
