Q & A

Q: What do white sweet pea flowers symbolize in weddings and events?
A: White sweet peas symbolize purity, grace, and blissful pleasure—making them a meaningful choice for weddings, bridal bouquets, and special celebrations.

Q: How many stems should I order for a wedding or large event?

Q: Do white sweet peas have a fragrance?
A: Yes, they have a light, sweet fragrance that adds an elegant and romantic touch to bouquets and arrangements.

Q: Can white sweet peas be used with other wholesale wedding flowers?
A: Absolutely! They pair beautifully with white wedding flowers like ranunculus, peonies, garden roses, and greenery for a soft, layered design.

Care & Handling

Unpack & Prep Immediately:
Upon arrival, carefully unpack your white sweet pea flowers. Remove any damaged petals and leaves that fall below the water line.

Hydration & Conditioning:

  • Trim stems at a 45° angle under running water or in a clean bucket.
  • Place in fresh, cool water with floral preservative.
  • Keep in a cool, shaded environment, away from direct sunlight and drafts.

Storage:
Store in a floral cooler or an air-conditioned room (ideally 36–38°F). Avoid excess humidity and ethylene exposure (from fruit or rotting flowers).

Rehydration Time:
Allow at least 4–6 hours for the blooms to hydrate before arranging. Full hydration ensures optimal stem strength and bloom longevity.

Design Tips:

  • Bridal Bouquets: Layer sweet peas with blush or ivory blooms for a textured, romantic bouquet.
  • Event Centerpieces: Cluster in bunches with eucalyptus or dusty miller for modern table settings.
  • Minimalist Decor: Use white sweet peas solo in glass bud vases for a soft, affordable yet premium touch.
  • Arches & Backdrops: Interweave with vines and greenery to add dimension to ceremony installations.

Pro Tips:

  • Handle gently—sweet peas are delicate and bruise easily.
  • Design close to the event date as the petals are thin and may wilt faster than sturdier flowers.
  • Pair with bulk wholesale flowers in neutral palettes for timeless arrangements.

What our customers say...

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
