Q & A

Q: Are hot pink sweet peas suitable for weddings and romantic events?
A: Absolutely! Hot pink sweet peas are a top choice for weddings, bridesmaid bouquets, and romantic event florals. Their vivid color and soft, fluttery petals add depth and charm to both modern and classic wedding arrangements.

Q: How many stems should I order for a full arrangement using hot pink sweet peas?
A: For standalone arrangements, 15–20 stems per bouquet offer lush volume. If used as accents within bulk wedding flowers, 5–10 stems add vibrant color and delicate texture. Order in bulk to ensure consistency across all your event floral pieces.

Care & Handling

Unpacking & Conditioning:

  • Unbox gently to avoid damaging delicate petals.
  • Recut stems diagonally under cool water by about ½ inch.
  • Immediately place in a clean vase or bucket with fresh water and floral preservative.

Hydration & Storage:

  • Let flowers hydrate for 4–6 hours before designing.
  • Keep in a cool room (36–38°F), away from direct sunlight, drafts, and fruit.
  • Replace water daily and keep stems trimmed every two days for longer vase life.

Care Tips:

  • Remove any foliage below the water line to avoid bacterial growth.
  • Mist lightly if storing for more than 24 hours.
  • Sweet peas are sensitive—handle with care to avoid bruising petals.

Design & Styling Tips:

  • Use hot pink sweet peas to add vivid contrast to white or blush wedding flowers.
  • Ideal for bridal bouquets, flower crowns, table centerpieces, and floral garlands.
  • Pair with cream ranunculus, garden roses, or lavender stock for luxurious, romantic textures.
  • These flowers make excellent premium filler blooms in both compact and cascading designs.
  • Perfect for affordable luxury arrangements in bulk weddings, romantic gifts, and upscale events.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
