Tips to Decorate with Petals

White rose petals bring an elegant and timeless charm to any occasion, making them perfect for weddings, events, and romantic celebrations. Here are some creative ways to incorporate fresh white rose petals into your decor:

 1. Create Stunning Aisle Decorations

Scatter white rose petals down the aisle for a classic, sophisticated look. Pair them with candles, lanterns, or greenery to craft a serene and romantic atmosphere. Their serene hue complements a variety of themes, from traditional to modern.

2. Enhance Centerpieces and Table Settings

Use white petals to elevate table designs by sprinkling them around floral arrangements or beneath glass vases. Their crisp, delicate appearance adds a soft, graceful touch to any centerpiece, creating a refined and polished look.

3. Add Romance to Intimate Moments

For romantic celebrations, trails of white rose petals instantly create an atmosphere of love and tenderness. Use them to embellish proposal setups, anniversary tablescapes, or cozy dinner settings for an unforgettable experience.

Care & Handling

Tips for Maintaining Fresh Rose Petals

To keep your rose petals soft and vibrant, proper maintenance is key. Store the petals in a cool, dry place, such as a refrigerator, to help prevent wilting and prolong their freshness. Be sure to protect them from direct sunlight and high humidity, as these conditions can lead to discoloration and a loss of their delicate texture.

When transporting rose petals, opt for a breathable container or a fabric pouch to ensure airflow while safeguarding them from damage. If needed, you can lightly mist the petals with water to retain their moisture, but avoid overdoing it to prevent them from becoming soggy. By following these guidelines, your rose petals will stay fresh and ready to elevate any event.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
