Care & Handling

Care & Handling: Pink Ranunculus (Bulk & Wholesale)

  1. Unpack Immediately: Gently remove flowers from the box. Keep stems bundled and remove excess leaves that may sit in water.

  2. Hydrate Well: Recut stems at a 45° angle under clean, running water. Place in a bucket with room-temperature water and flower food.

  3. Condition Properly: Let the ranunculus hydrate for 4–6 hours before designing. This helps them open naturally and extend vase life.

  4. Daily Maintenance: Change water every 1–2 days and re-trim stems for optimal freshness.

  5. Storage Tips: Keep flowers in a cool room (36–70°F), away from sunlight, drafts, and ethylene-producing fruits.

  6. Design Ready: Ranunculus open gradually, making them ideal for mixing with roses, lisianthus, peonies, or greenery in centerpieces and bouquets.
