Care & Handling

Care & Handling for Wholesale Peach Ranunculus

Unpack Carefully:
As soon as your wholesale peach ranunculus arrives, unpack the stems gently to avoid petal bruising. These are delicate but resilient blooms.

Trim Stems:
Cut about 1 inch off each stem at a 45° angle under clean, running water. This maximizes water uptake and helps the blooms hydrate evenly.

Initial Hydration:
Place trimmed stems into clean vases or floral buckets with room-temperature water and floral preservative. Let them hydrate for 4–6 hours before designing.

Storage Tips:
Keep the flowers in a cool, shaded location between 36–65°F, away from sunlight, fruit, or heating vents to preserve bloom integrity.

Maintenance:
Change water every 1–2 days and re-trim stems slightly to extend vase life. Remove any foliage sitting below the waterline to reduce bacteria.

Design Tip:
Use peach ranunculus in bouquets, boutonnieres, bud vases, and centerpiece clusters. Their soft hue and romantic texture elevate any floral arrangement.

Lifespan:
With proper care, your peach ranunculus flowers will remain fresh and event-ready for 6 to 8 days.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
