Tips to Decorate

Tips to Arrange Luxurious Pink Roses Bouquets in Bulk

  1. Choose Fresh Roses: Start by selecting premium-quality pink roses with vibrant petals and healthy stems. Ensure the blooms are fresh and free of blemishes to maintain a luxurious appearance.
  2. Prepare the Stems: Trim the stems at a 45-degree angle to ensure maximum water absorption. Remove any leaves or thorns below the waterline to keep the arrangement clean and prevent bacteria growth.
  3. Select the Right Vase or Holder: Opt for elegant glass or metallic vases to enhance the luxury of the bouquets. If arranging for events, use matching holders to create a cohesive and polished look.
  4. Layer and Group Strategically: Arrange the roses in layers, grouping them tightly to give the bouquet a full and lush feel. Work with odd numbers for an aesthetically pleasing design.
  5. Add Complementary Fillers: Incorporate greenery like eucalyptus or baby’s breath to complement the pink roses without overshadowing them. This adds texture and depth while keeping the focus on the roses.
  6. Hydrate and Maintain: Keep the bouquets hydrated by placing them in water with flower preservative. Store them in a cool place away from direct sunlight until they are ready to be displayed.
  7. Personalize for the Occasion: Finalize the arrangements with wrapping paper, ribbons, or other decorative elements that match the theme of the event, ensuring a luxurious and personalized touch.

Care & Handling

Care and Handling for Pink Roses Bouquets in Bulk

Inspect Upon Arrival: Carefully inspect the roses upon arrival to ensure they are in good condition. Remove any damaged petals or leaves that may affect the overall appearance of the bouquet.

Proper Hydration: Trim the stems at an angle using a clean, sharp tool to improve water uptake. Place the roses in a clean container filled with fresh, lukewarm water mixed with flower food to keep them hydrated.

Store in Optimal Conditions: Keep the bouquets in a cool environment, ideally between 34-38°F (1-3°C). Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, drafts, or ethylene-producing fruits such as apples and bananas, which can shorten their lifespan.

Refresh Regularly: Check the water levels daily, and replace the water with fresh, clean water while trimming the stems slightly every two days to maximize their freshness.

Handle with Care: When handling roses in bulk, ensure that each bouquet is supported properly to prevent crushing or bruising the delicate blooms.

Display at the Right Time: Remove roses from refrigeration and allow them to adjust to room temperature before the event. Fluff the petals gently if needed to enhance their appearance before display.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
