Designing Tips

Create a soft romantic bridal bouquet. Use Light Pink Peonies as the primary focal flowers and position them at slightly different heights and angles. Add smaller blooms between the peonies to create depth while keeping their lush rounded shapes visible.

Layer different shades of pink. Combine light pink with blush, dusty rose, or deeper pink flowers to create a tonal palette with greater dimension. The gradual transition between shades works especially well for romantic and garden-inspired weddings.

Pair with creamy neutrals. White, ivory, and champagne flowers emphasize the delicate pink color without competing with it. This combination creates an elegant palette for bridal bouquets, ceremony flowers, and reception arrangements.

Build airy garden-style centerpieces. Arrange Light Pink Peonies loosely in compotes or low vessels rather than creating a tight floral mound. Position some blooms slightly outward and at varying heights to create natural movement.

Mix bloom stages for texture. Combine tighter buds, partially opened flowers, and fully opened peonies when available. The variation in bloom size adds dimension and gives arrangements a freshly gathered garden appearance.

Give each peony room to open. Leave space around the flower heads when arranging them because peonies expand significantly as they bloom. This prevents neighboring flowers from compressing their delicate layered petals.

Use their pale color in larger designs. In ceremony arrangements and floral installations, group several Light Pink Peonies together at focal points so their soft color remains visible from a distance rather than disappearing among stronger colors.

Monitor the blooms during August. Hydrate the peonies thoroughly after arrival and keep them in a cool location away from direct sunlight and heat. Check their opening progress regularly, as warm summer temperatures can encourage faster blooming.

FAQ

Are Light Pink Peonies available for weddings in August?
Yes. Light Pink Peonies can be sourced during August from select growing regions. Because peonies are seasonal flowers, availability may vary depending on weather conditions and the annual harvest.

Why choose Light Pink Peonies for an August wedding?
Light Pink Peonies offer the lush beauty of peonies in a soft, romantic color that complements many wedding palettes. Their large layered blooms bring volume and elegance to bridal bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony flowers, and reception arrangements.

What colors pair well with Light Pink Peonies?
Light pink pairs beautifully with white, ivory, blush, lavender, peach, champagne, and deeper pink tones. The soft color also works well with greenery for natural garden-inspired wedding designs.

Can I use Light Pink Peonies for bridal bouquets?
Absolutely. Their delicate color and full, rounded blooms make Light Pink Peonies especially suited to romantic bridal and bridesmaid bouquets. They can be used as the primary flower or combined with smaller blooms for additional texture.

Are Light Pink Peonies suitable for wedding centerpieces?
Yes. Their generous bloom size provides beautiful volume in both low and elevated centerpieces. Light Pink Peonies are especially effective in romantic, garden-style, classic, and elegant reception designs.

Will all Light Pink Peonies be exactly the same shade?
Natural variations in pink tone, bloom size, shape, and maturity can occur. Some blooms may appear paler or slightly deeper than others, creating subtle dimension within floral arrangements.

How far in advance should I order Light Pink Peonies for an August event?
Order as early as possible once your event date and quantities are known. August peonies have a limited seasonal window, so advance ordering provides the best opportunity to secure flowers for your wedding or special event.

How should I care for Light Pink Peonies after delivery?
Unpack the flowers promptly, trim the stems at an angle, remove foliage below the waterline, and place them in clean containers with fresh water. Allow them to hydrate in a cool location away from direct sunlight and heat.

How large will Light Pink Peonies become when they open?
Peonies can increase considerably in size as their layered petals unfold. Leave adequate space between flower heads when designing so each bloom has room to open naturally and maintain its beautiful rounded shape.

What events are Light Pink Peonies suitable for?
Light Pink Peonies are ideal for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, engagement parties, anniversaries, birthdays, garden parties, and other elegant summer celebrations.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.

  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.

  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
