Tips to Decorate with Petals

Decorating with off-white fresh rose petals is a timeless way to bring elegance and subtle charm to weddings, events, and romantic celebrations. Their neutral hue complements any color palette, making them a versatile choice for enhancing various designs and themes.

 1. Create a Stunning Aisle Runner

Sprinkle off-white rose petals along the aisle for a soft, sophisticated look. Combined with candles or greenery, they set the perfect tone for a romantic ceremony.

2. Accentuate Desserts and Beverages

Use edible off-white rose petals as delicate garnishes for desserts or drinks. Their understated beauty adds a touch of refinement to every bite and sip.

3. Design Elegant Table Décor

Scatter the petals across tables for an effortlessly chic centerpiece or blend them into floral arrangements for a layered, polished effect. They also make for dreamy decorative accents in photo displays or event backdrops.

Off-white fresh rose petals offer a graceful and understated way to elevate any occasion. Whether you're planning a wedding or a special event, their classic beauty will leave a lasting impression on your guests.

Care & Handling

Proper care and handling of fresh rose petals can elevate weddings, events, and romantic moments with their timeless beauty and charm. To keep the petals looking fresh and vibrant, avoid exposing them to excessive moisture, which can cause wilting, discoloration, or mold. If they do become damp, gently dry them with a soft cloth or paper towel.

For optimal results, use fresh rose petals on the same day as your event. Remove them from refrigeration about 30 minutes before use to allow them to adjust to room temperature. Always handle the petals with clean, dry hands to avoid bruising or damaging their delicate surface.

By following these care tips, your rose petals will remain stunning and vibrant, creating a lasting impression. Whether scattered down an aisle, embellishing table decor, or shaping intricate designs, they will bring elegance and romance to any occasion.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
