Q & A

FAQs – Light Yellow Airbrushed Premium Hydrangea

  1. What makes this a “premium” airbrushed hydrangea?
Each bloom is hand-tinted with an even, soft yellow tone and grown under optimal conditions for fuller heads and longer vase life.

  2. Can I buy the Light Yellow Airbrushed Hydrangea in bulk?
Yes, we offer wholesale quantities perfect for weddings, event planners, or floral designers working on large-scale projects.

  5. How should I pair light yellow hydrangeas in a bouquet?
They pair beautifully with soft pastels like blush roses, ivory peonies, and baby’s breath for a light, romantic feel.

  6. Will the color fade after a few days?
When stored and hydrated properly, the airbrushed color holds its tone well for 7–10 days.

Care & Handling

Care & Handling – Light Yellow Airbrushed Premium Hydrangea

Upon arrival, remove the Light Yellow Airbrushed Premium Hydrangeas from their packaging and give each stem a 45-degree angled cut under running water. Place immediately into clean, lukewarm water with floral preservative. These hydrangeas are particularly sensitive to dehydration, so it’s best to soak the flower heads in cool water for 30–60 minutes upon unpacking to rehydrate fully. Avoid placing them near heating vents, direct sunlight, or fruit, as ethylene gas can reduce their vase life. Since these are airbrushed, avoid directly misting the petals to preserve the soft yellow tint. Keep water fresh by changing it every two days and trimming the stems slightly each time to ensure maximum uptake. For optimal use in arrangements or displays, allow them to hydrate for 6–12 hours after arrival. With proper care, they’ll maintain their color and shape beautifully, making them a standout feature in any floral installation.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
