Designing Tips

Styling & Care Tips for Olive Silver Seeded Greenery Garlands

Achieve professional floral results when installing your 5-inch Olive Silver Seeded runner with these simple design and care practices.

1. Hydrate and Prep Greenery Upon Arrival

Unbox your garland immediately upon delivery, gently loosen the foliage branches, and mist thoroughly with cool water. Keep the runner stored flat in a cool, shaded environment away from direct heat sources to preserve moisture prior to setup.

2. Design a Mediterranean Banquet Tablescape

Position the 5-inch regular olive silver seeded garland down the center of wooden farm tables as a natural green runner. Thread warm amber string lights through the leaves and nestle stems of deep purple scabiosa to add captivating color contrast and texture.

3. Anchor Securely to Arches & Pergolas

When hanging heavy tri-foliage garlands along ceremony arches or wooden pergolas, use green-covered floral wire or zip ties every 2 to 3 feet to distribute weight evenly and maintain smooth drapes.

4. Layer with Accent Foliage

Elevate the organic texture by tucking extra stems of fresh myrtle branches into sparse areas along the runner base for added leaf density.

5. Prolong Focal Blooms with Water Vials

If embedding fresh cut flowers into the greenery runner structure, insert individual stems into water tubes to ensure blooms remain fresh and vibrant throughout your event.

FAQ

Care & Customization FAQs for Olive Silver Seeded Garlands

Find quick answers regarding foliage care, length selections, and delivery timing for our 5-inch Olive Silver Seeded fresh garland.

How long will the Olive Silver Seeded garland stay fresh?

When kept in a cool space out of direct sunlight and heat sources, fresh olive silver seeded garlands typically remain vibrant for 7 to 10 days. Regular misting with cool water helps maintain leaf moisture and flexibility.

What length options can I select for this olive silver seeded runner?

We craft single-sided runs in continuous lengths of 6ft, 10ft, 15ft, 20ft, 25ft, and 50ft to fit various dining table, mantel, and architectural layout dimensions.

When should I set my delivery date relative to my event?

We recommend scheduling delivery 1 to 2 days prior to your event. This allows the foliage to settle after shipping while ensuring peak freshness on your event date.

What makes combining Olive Leaf with Seeded and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus special?

Blending narrow olive leaves (which feature silvery undersides) with broad silver dollar leaves and textured seed sprays creates a rich multi-tonal, Tuscan-inspired look that single-variety garlands cannot match.

Can this olive silver seeded garland be dried after the event?

Yes, olive branches and seeded eucalyptus dry exceptionally well. Hang the garland in a dry, dark, well-ventilated space post-event to transition it into long-lasting home decor.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
