Q & A

Q: Will I have enough flowers for all arrangements listed?
A: Yes, each package is designed to cover the suggested recipes. You can adjust counts to create fewer fuller arrangements or more minimal pieces.

Q: When should I assemble my flowers?
A: We recommend assembling bouquets and arrangements 1 day before your event after proper hydration.

Q: What should I do when my flowers arrive?
A: Trim stems, place in clean water with flower food, and allow them to hydrate for at least 4–6 hours before designing.

Q: How do I make the bouquet look like the photo?
A: Use anemones as focal flowers, surround them with roses, and allow eucalyptus to extend naturally for a soft, airy shape.

Q: Do I need floral tools?
A: Yes, we recommend floral shears, floral tape, and ribbon. A bouquet holder or chicken wire can help with structure.

Q: Can I customize these recipes?
A: Absolutely. These are flexible guidelines and can be adjusted based on your style and priorities.

Q: How do I keep flowers fresh on the wedding day?
A: Keep arrangements in water as long as possible, store in a cool area, and avoid direct sunlight or heat.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
