Product Description

Cockscomb Celosia Red Flowers are striking, velvety blooms prized for their rich color, sculptural texture, and excellent volume. This bold red variety is a favorite among floral designers for wedding bouquets, centerpieces, statement arrangements, anniversaries, birthdays, and celebratory events.

The deep red tone adds instant drama and fullness, making it an ideal filler or focal flower in both modern and classic floral designs. Cockscomb celosia is popular year-round for spring, summer, fall, and winter weddings, thanks to its durability and eye-catching form.

For stunning centerpiece ideas, pair Red Cockscomb Celosia with Red Amaranth, Green Cymbidium Orchids with Red Lip, or Pink Ice Protea. Planning a red wedding theme? Complement these blooms with Red Alstroemeria, Red Rose Petals, Red Anemone, Red Freesia, Red Peonies, or Red Kangaroo Paw to create cohesive, high-impact arrangements.

Designing Tips

Red Cockscomb Celosia delivers dramatic texture and rich color, perfect for luxury weddings, holiday arrangements, bold centerpieces, and romantic designs. Its sculptural form enhances modern and classic arrangements alike. Red cockscomb pairs beautifully with burgundy, blush, gold accents, and deep greenery for striking floral compositions.

Care

Re-cut stems upon arrival and hydrate immediately. Store in a clean, cool floral cooler and avoid stacking blooms. Proper hydration and airflow will preserve color intensity and bloom structure for long-lasting arrangements.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
