I didn't really receive enough instruction to get my calla lilies to open by event time. This should be included with the shipment, or on the website - under the flower category. This is my second failure with lilies from Whole Blossoms. They were still lovely, but not what I needed for the design. My previous lily failure was similar - however I found the lilies to be quite battered and bruised. This became evident after a few days. All other products I have ordered through WB have been well packed and of exceptional quality. Giving up on lilies, but I will continue to use WB because of their great customer service and quality product line. Lilies I'll give a 3 star, all other flowers to date are 5 star for sure!
