Care

Care and Handling for Luxurious Fresh Cut Bulk Yellow Roses for Wedding Flowers and Decor

Proper care and handling are essential to ensure your yellow roses remain vibrant and beautiful throughout your event. Follow these tips to maintain their freshness and radiance:

Unpack with Care

Upon receiving your bulk yellow roses, gently unpack them and inspect for any damages or wilting. Handle the roses carefully to avoid bruising the petals.

Hydration is Key

Trim the stems at a diagonal angle under running water to prevent air bubbles from blocking water uptake. Immediately place the roses in a clean container filled with fresh, lukewarm water mixed with flower food.

Keep Them Cool

Store your roses in a cool environment, away from direct sunlight, heat, or drafts. Ideal storage temperatures range from 34°F to 75°F.

Remove Excess Foliage

Strip off any leaves that would fall below the waterline in your vase or container. This helps to prevent bacterial growth and maintain water quality.

Refresh Regularly

Change the water every two days and re-trim stems as needed to prolong their freshness. Replenish flower food when refreshing the water.

By following these steps, your yellow roses will serve as a stunning addition to your wedding flowers and decor, providing an elegant and cheerful touch to your arrangements.

Arrangement Tips

Arranging Tips for Yellow Roses in Weddings and Events

Create a Focal Point

Use yellow roses as the central feature of your floral arrangements to draw attention. Their bright and cheerful hue naturally adds a sense of warmth and sophistication to any setting.

Mix with Complementary Flowers

Pair yellow roses with softer-toned flowers like white lilies, baby’s breath, or blush pink peonies for a balanced and harmonious look. Greenery like eucalyptus or ferns can add texture and depth to the arrangement.

Consider the Theme

Incorporate yellow roses into arrangements that align with the event’s color scheme and theme. For summer weddings, combine them with vibrant wildflowers, while for a formal event, pair them with classic blooms like ivory white roses.

Use Different Heights and Layers

Play with varying stem lengths when arranging your yellow roses. This creates dimension and visual interest, especially for centerpiece displays or cascading bouquets.

Choose the Right Vase or Vessel

Display your arrangements in gold or neutral-colored vases to complement the roses’ warm tones. Rustic options like wooden boxes or vintage glassware can add a unique flair.

Personal Touches

Incorporate personal elements such as ribbons, lace, or stones that match the overall decor to make your yellow rose arrangements more memorable and meaningful.

By using these tips, you can effortlessly enhance your wedding or event with the timeless charm and beauty of yellow roses.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
