Care

To ensure your bulk white roses remain fresh and beautiful for weddings and events, it is essential to follow proper care and handling steps. Upon receiving your roses, start by unboxing them immediately and inspecting for any damage during transit. Trim the stems at an angle using a clean and sharp floral knife or scissors to promote water absorption. Remove any foliage or thorns that will sit below the water line to prevent bacterial growth.

Prepare buckets of clean, lukewarm water mixed with floral preservative before placing the roses in the water for hydration. Allow the roses to hydrate for at least 4-6 hours in a cool, shaded area before arranging. Ensure that your workspace and tools are sanitized to avoid introducing any contaminants that could harm the flowers' longevity.

When preparing ahead of time, stock up on supplies like floral scissors, buckets, flower food, thorn strippers, and gloves. It’s also helpful to have floral tape, wire, and foam if intricate arrangements are planned. By following these steps and adequately preparing, your white roses will maintain their stunning visual appeal for your special celebration.

Arrangement Tips

Tips for Arranging Bulk White Roses

White roses are versatile and elegant, making them a perfect choice for weddings and events. To create stunning centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnières, and church décor, follow these expert tips:

 Centerpieces

Combine white roses with greenery such as eucalyptus or ferns for a timeless and balanced arrangement. Use a sturdy vase or floral foam base to keep the roses in place and hydrated throughout the event. Incorporate candles or fairy lights around the centerpiece to add a romantic touch.

Bouquets

For bridal or bridesmaid bouquets, opt for tightly arranged white roses for a classic look, or mix them with other flowers like baby’s breath or soft pastel blooms for a more textured design. Secure the stems with floral tape and wrap them in ribbon that matches the wedding theme.

Boutonnières

Use a single white rose accented with a small piece of greenery or a sprig of baby’s breath for a refined boutonnière. Attach the arrangement to a pin or a clip, ensuring it sits flat and securely on the wearer’s lapel.

Church Décor

Adorn pews, arches, and altars with white roses arranged in cascading garlands or standing sprays. Incorporate satin ribbons or draped fabrics for added elegance. Using floral foam or water vials can help extend the roses’ freshness during longer ceremonies.

No matter the arrangement, always prioritize hydration and avoid overcrowding the roses to ensure they stay fresh and vibrant. These tips will help you create breathtaking floral displays that enhance the beauty and ambiance of your special day.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
