Care

Care and Handling for Luxurious Fresh Cut Bulk Pink Roses

To ensure your fresh cut bulk pink roses remain vibrant and stunning for your wedding or event, proper care and handling are essential. Follow these steps to maintain their luxurious appearance:

 Unpack Immediately

Upon receiving your roses, carefully remove them from their packaging. Avoid pulling or tugging on the stems to prevent damage.

Hydrate Thoroughly

Trim the stems at a 45-degree angle under running water to allow for maximum hydration. Place them in a clean vase or bucket filled with fresh, room-temperature water mixed with flower food.

Remove Leaves

Remove any leaves that will fall below the waterline to reduce the risk of bacteria growth, which can shorten the lifespan of the roses.

Store in a Cool Environment

Keep the roses in a cool area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts. Ideal storage temperatures are between 34°F and 38°F to prolong freshness.

Rehydrate Regularly

Every 1-2 days, change the water, re-trim the stems, and add fresh flower food to keep the roses healthy and vibrant.

By following these care and handling instructions, your fresh cut bulk pink roses will serve as elegant, eye-catching elements for your wedding flowers and event décor.

Arrangement Tips

Arranging Tips with Pink Roses for Weddings and Events

 Create Layers and Dimensions

Use varying stem lengths when arranging your pink roses to add depth and dimension to your floral displays. Pairing shorter stems in the front with taller ones in the back creates a fuller, more luxurious look.

Mix with Complementary Flowers and Foliage

Combine pink roses with complementary flowers like white hydrangeas, baby's breath, or soft greenery such as eucalyptus. This enhances the overall arrangement without overpowering the delicate beauty of the roses.

Choose Elegant Vessels

Opt for sleek, timeless vases or ornate containers that align with your wedding or event's theme. Glass, metallic, or ceramic vases work wonderfully to highlight the soft pink hue of the roses.

Use Roses for Multiple Elements

Incorporate these roses in table centerpieces, bridal bouquets, aisle décor, or even floral backdrops. Their versatility makes them perfect accents throughout the venue.

Prepare Arrangements in Advance

Assemble your arrangements at least a few hours before the event to allow time for any last-minute adjustments. Keep them in a cool environment to maintain their freshness until display.

By following these tips, you can ensure your pink rose arrangements create a sophisticated and unforgettable atmosphere for your wedding or event.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
