Q & A

Q: What makes Bicolor Red Anemone Flowers unique for wedding arrangements?
A: Bicolor Red Anemones feature a bold red outer petal with a light or white inner contrast and a dark center, offering dramatic beauty that enhances bridal bouquets, centerpieces, and modern event styling.

Q: How many days in advance should I order Bicolor Red Anemones for my event?
A: It’s recommended to order your bicolor red anemones 3–7 days before your event, allowing them to hydrate and bloom fully for optimal presentation.

Q: Can I mix these flowers with other blooms in wedding designs?
A: Absolutely. These anemones pair beautifully with ranunculus, garden roses, tulips, or lisianthus. Their vibrant bicolor look enhances both romantic and bold floral palettes.

Care & Handling

Care & Handling:

  • Unpack Immediately: Remove flowers from the box as soon as they arrive.
  • Rehydrate Properly: Trim stems at a 45° angle under water and place in clean, fresh water.
  • Remove Foliage: Eliminate any leaves that sit below the water line to prevent bacteria.
  • Storage Temperature: Store at 36–50°F in a floral cooler or cool room. Avoid direct sunlight and heat.
  • Hydration Time: Allow 4–12 hours to hydrate properly. Full bloom opens in 1–2 days.
  • Daily Maintenance: Recut stems and refresh water every 24–48 hours for maximum freshness.

Design Tips:

  • Use bicolor red anemones to create striking bridal bouquets with white peonies or blush garden roses.
  • Combine with greenery such as seeded eucalyptus or ruscus for contrast.
  • Incorporate into modern centerpieces using black, white, or gold vases to highlight the bicolor contrast.
  • These blooms also work beautifully in boutonnieres, wreaths, or cake florals for added elegance.

Pro Tips:

  • Always design with anemones after hydration, when petals have opened slightly for maximum visual impact.
  • Use them as focal flowers—they’re naturally eye-catching and require little embellishment.
  • Pair with textured fillers like astilbe or wax flower for a premium, multidimensional look in larger arrangements.
  • For longer vase life at events, keep arrangements cool until just before display.

Tips for ordering
  • We recommend that most flowers be scheduled to be delivered 2-3 days prior to an event. All flowers are harvested just prior to delivery.
  • Delicate flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Gardenias, and Stephanotis are best when delivered 1-2 days before the event.
  • Iris have a short vase life so the delivery should be scheduled 2 days prior to your event.
  • Lotus have a short vase life so they need to be ordered 1-2 days prior to events.
  • Peonies and Ranunculus may take longer to open during cold months. Schedule delivery of these flowers 3-4 days prior to your event.
  • Alstroemeria, Gladiolus, Agapanthus, Stars of Bethlehem, Sunflowers, and Lilies may require at least 3 days for blooming. Consider scheduling delivery of these flowers 3-4 days before your event.
  • Blooming branches for Jan and Feb deliveries should be scheduled for delivery at least 7 - 10 days before your event to permit adequate blooming. Expect blooming in 10 days with cold weather. For March and later, a 4-5 day lead time before your wedding or event is suggested for proper blooming.
  • Pumpkin branches schedule delivery 2 to 3 days prior to your event.
  • For Manzanita branches, if you would like the farm to remove the leaves, this needs to be requested in advance.
If you are unsure what day to select, pick the best available date you can, we suggest 3 days prior to the event. OR you can contact our flower care experts by chat or email to help you decide which date is best for you.
