Many may be asking this question, What Is Eucalyptus? It’s actually an evergreen tree that also has medicinal purpose. The Seeded Eucalyptus Tree is ingenious to Australia, although it can also be found in various parts of the world. Its leaves are circular and on long stems from a gum-fused bark that can also be made into a tea. Its leaves can also be turned into Eucalyptus Oil which is also essential for inhalation or people with sinus or respiratory trouble.

As far as health benefits, Eucalyptus is a great source for antioxidants and can give a person an 18% lower chance or risk of fatal heart disease.  The oil from Seeded Eucalyptus can be used to treat very rough or dry skin. When using the oils, it’s also known for reducing pain when inhaling. It’s also been studied that it contains a source called eucalyptol, which may reduce the level of stress a person may feel at very demanding or difficult times.

So, as we have briefly commented on, Eucalyptus has a very helpful and healthy purpose. However, besides the nice smell, it has an aesthetic appearance that will greatly enhance your floral arrangements and holiday décor for Thanksgiving and Christmas. At Whole Blossoms, we can help you find the freshest varieties of Eucalyptus. We have: Seeded Eucalyptus, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus Greens, Willow Seeded Eucalyptus, Cone Seeded Eucalyptus, Baby Blue Eucalyptus Flowers, Bonsai Eucalyptus Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Blue Flower Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Bronze Flower Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Gold Yellow Flower Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Green Flower Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Hot Pink Flower Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Orange Flower Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Purple Flower Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Pink Flower Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Red Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Silver Flower Filler, Gold Seeded Eucalyptus, Red Seeded Eucalyptus, Silver Seeded Eucalyptus Flower Filler, Eucalyptus Mix Metallic Flower Filler, Eucalyptus Metallic Fall Flower Filler, and Eucalyptus Metallic Christmas Flower Filler,

Once you have determined which variety will look best for you holiday centerpieces and bouquets, it’s time to start getting creative and assembling some arrangements together that will allow you to capture the brilliance of your theme, emotion, and imagination.

One creative thing you can make for the holidays is a candle wreath to place in the center of your dining room table. To make this you will need plenty of Eucalyptus, pine cones and even some pine branches. Get a candle ring from a local market and assemble this fresh. Put your favorite color candles in the center, whether red or white, maybe even gold. Your ring will smell fabulous and the blend of fresh pin and eucalyptus will certainly make a holiday impact.

For the holidays, nothing looks fresher and inspiring than a mix with white hydrangeas, lavender tips, and eucalyptus. Assembling this as a centerpiece can really make people happy and feel joyous in their office or home environment.

Another extremely simple idea is to take a clear vase or bowl and put several stems of it and display them in various parts of your office, home, church, or even wedding. Some couples do choose holiday wedding and if chosen to get married this time of the year, Eucalyptus is a must!

If you are, by chance, planning a holiday wedding, it’s still not too late to plan and prepare for it. At Whole Blossoms, we suggest ordering at least two weeks before, and time is fading quickly so you probably should order now.

Here are some helpful holiday wedding suggestions because a holiday wedding comes with some challenges.

  1. Don’t Plan on inviting a ton of guests. The holiday season is a busy time for everyone, so chances are, many people invited will not be able to attend and this can be a bummer. Traveling during the holidays is a bit more expensive. However, if your goal is to have a more intimate wedding with less guests, your holiday wedding can also become a dual holiday/wedding get together, making it that much more of a blessed event. If you get married during the holidays, we suggest a second reception at a later date and this will also take some of stress of not inviting many of friends and relatives who would come at other times of the year.
  2. Since it will be mostly family, we suggest making it a bit more kid friendly so that the need for a nanny or babysitter will not be a deterrent.  You can do this by planning some special activities especially geared for the children.
  3. Another downside is the fact that everything during the holidays is a bit more expensive because of the high demand for the holidays is a lot higher, so everything is going to cost a bit more. This will include: vendors, photographers, flights, hotel rooms, and transportation. This is important to keep in mind because part of planning is not always the decorations.
  4. If you haven’t started already, it would be a good idea to check and see if everything will be available before you get started.

After you have made your determination on whether or not to have a holiday wedding, or that you need some spicing up with your holiday decorations, don’t forget the Eucalyptus. You now have several reasons why.
