A popular and common flower used in cut flower arrangements, Stock is characterized with having single or double blooms surrounding a main, soft stem. While a portion of the flower's stem is covered by open blooms, much like a dendrobium orchid, the thick, colorful blooms make Stock a colorful flower worthy of use in special events such as weddings. The uppermost portion of a Stock's stem consists of closed buds with slight showing of colorful, underdeveloped closed blooms.

Fresh cut white Stock flower requires simple care and handling following delivery of your order.

  • Upon receipt, prepare vases or buckets filled with a few inches of water (floral preservative may be used but not necessary). Ensure clean buckets are used to prevent your water from becoming soiled. Warm, soapy water is sufficient for cleansing buckets.
  • Carefully remove your wedding flowers from your boxes. Remove any leaves or foliage that may later fall under your buckets' water line.
  • Using a shallow tub filled with water, trim your flower stems underwater. One-quarter to half an inch may be trimmed, depending on the stem condition noted. If a bucket is unavailable, trim your stems under running tap water. Clean floral shears or a sharp knife may be used.
  • Following trimming, immediately place your flower stems in your water buckets. Store your Stock in a cool location, above 40F. In general, a cold ambient temperature will assist in prolonging your vase life.
  • Every other day, trim your flower stems and replace the water in your buckets. Floral preservative may be used if desired.
  • To maximize flower longevity, store your white Stock wholesale flowers in a cool location, though no cooler than 40F.
  • Keep your white Stock in water at all times for hydration and add floral preservative. If the flowers are not going to be displayed immediately, try to store them in a fresh environment (no lower than 38F) with at least 80% humidity. Replace water and floral preservative every three days to ensure a long vase life.

  • WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE THE DELIVERY Of THIS FLOWER? White Stock flowers should be scheduled for delivery two to three days before your scheduled delivery date.
  • HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER? We recommend that you order your Stock bulk flowers at least two weeks before your wedding or event to ensure product and colors availability.
  • All fresh cut Stock flowers are custom harvested for your order and ship farm direct to you. Your bulk Stock flowers will be delivered via FedEx and will require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure someone is available to assume delivery or consider having your Stock delivered to your work location, family member, or neighbor. As an alternative, deliveries may be held at your nearby FedEx station for pickup at your convenience. In such cases, please check your station's operating days and hours to prevent pickup conflicts.
  • Bulk flowers dropped off outside may expose Stock flowers to excessive heat or cold which can wilt flowers. Therefore, Whole Blossoms strongly recommends having someone available to assume receipt of flowers at the time of delivery. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you 1-3 days prior to delivery of your flowers.
  •  Your fresh cut Stock flowers will be delivered farm direct to you.
  • Due to flower perishability, your wholesale flowers cannot be left outside for extended periods of time after being delivered.
  • White Stock flowers are shipped from South America and are refrigerated through cold chain management and carefully transported to ensure freshness. Upon arrival, carefully unpack your bulk flowers and follow the care and handling. Whole Blossoms stands behind freshness and offers freshness assurance upon delivery of flowers.
  • While FedEx is reliable at meeting delivery dates and times, in a limited number of cases, your shipment might arrive 1-2 days before or after your scheduled delivery date due to factors resulting from weather, customs processing times, FedEx flight delays, and other uncontrollable and unforeseeable factors.
  • For latest status on your order, please go to the Track Your Order section located at the bottom of the menu or contact FedEx directly at 1.800.GO.FEDEX  (1.800.463.3339).
