  • Your Whole Blossoms wholesale LISIANTHUS just arrived! Now they need to be hydrated and processed.
  • Carefully unpack your Lisianthus. All wedding flowers look dry upon arrival and will need to be hydrated. It is important to give your wholesale flowers a couple of hours to hydrate and replenish. Depending on the variety purchased, some fresh cut flowers may need 24 to 36 hours to hydrate and perk up.
  • Place your Lisianthus flowers in clean, fresh, filtered water and add a tablespoon of sugar per bucket to help your wedding flowers open faster. Carefully remove leaves, thorns or foliage that fall under the water level (without tearing the stem skin) to avoid the build-up of bacteria. Cut one inch off the end of the Lisianthus flowers stem in a 45-degree angle (with a sharp knife NOT scissors) to allow water to be better absorbed through the stems. After cutting the stem at an angle, quickly place the wholesale Lisianthus in water since it only takes a minute for the stem to dry and seal up.
  • Keep Lisianthus flowers in a shaded, cool, relatively humid area (if possible under 45F). Avoid placing Lisianthus near heat surfaces or environments. Lisianthus must be in water at all times until they are ready to be used.
  • Do not keep your fresh cut Lisianthus in the refrigerator overnight since many fruit and vegetable gases can damage your flowers.
  • When storing your wedding flowers, make sure that they are not moved from cold to hot or from hot to cold temperatures since drastic temperature changes will burn flowers.

Farm growing conditions, weather conditions, market demand, and other general forces may result in the unavailability of the wholesale flowers shown without notice.

  • HOW MANY DAYS BEFORE MY EVENT SHOULD I SCHEDULE THE DELIVERY OF MY LISIANTHUS FLOWERS? When placing your wholesale lisianthus order, choose a delivery date 2-3 days prior to your wedding or event. Because fresh cut lisianthus are harvested just prior to delivery, 2-3 days are needed for the blooms to fully open. If your Wedding or Event is on a Saturday, we recommend therefore scheduling your Lisianthus for a Wednesday or Thursday delivery.
  • All wedding flowers including Lisianthus flowers will be delivered via FedEx and will require a signature upon delivery. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you 1-2 days prior to delivery of your flowers.
  • Bulk flowers shipped from South America and Europe are refrigerated through cold chain management and carefully transported to ensure freshness. Upon arrival, carefully unpack your wholesale lisianthus and follow the care and handling instructions emailed to you after placing your order. Whole Blossoms stands behind freshness and offers freshness assurance upon delivery of flowers.
  • While FedEx is reliable at meeting delivery dates and times, in a limited number of cases, your shipment might arrive 1-2 days before or after your scheduled delivery date due to factors resulting from weather, customs processing times, FedEx flight delays, and other uncontrollable and unforeseeable factors.
  • For latest status on your bulk flower order, please go to the Track Your Order section located at the bottom of the menu or contact FedEx directly at 1.800.GO.FEDEX (1.800.463.3339).
  • Please ensure someone is available to receive your wholesale flowers from FedEx as flowers are perishable and require immediate proper care and handling. Flowers dropped off outside may expose flowers to excessive heat or cold which can wilt flowers. Therefore, Whole Blossoms strongly recommends having someone available to assume receipt of flowers at the time of delivery.
