  • Your fresh Wholesale LAVENDER FLOWERS will need to be hydrated upon arrival.
  • Unpack your fresh cut Lavender as soon as you receive them and cut about one inch of the stem at an angle (with a sharp knife NOT scissors).
  • Remove foliage that could remain under the water line to avoid bacteria build-up and place the wholesale flowers in clean, warm filtered water.
  • To maximize flower longevity, store your cut Lavender flowers in a cool location, though no cooler than 40F.
  • Keep your Lavender in water at all times for hydration and add floral preservative. If the flowers are not going to be displayed immediately, try to store them in a fresh environment (no lower than 38F) with at least 80% humidity. Replace water and floral preservative every three days to ensure a long vase life.
  • Keep your bulk flowers away from fruit and vegetables since they are ethylene sensitive.
  • Upon delivery, prepare clean vases or buckets with a few inches of water. Flower food or preservative (or table sugar) can be added to your water should you desire.  Once organized, carefully remove your Lavender flowers from your boxes taking care with their top-heavy heads. Using floral shears or a sharp knife, trim a quarter to a half inch off the end of each stem under water or running tap water. Then immediately place the freshly cut stem into your water bucket.
  • Lavender tends to bend since it has heavy heads and hollow stems. If your Lavender bends, recut the stems at an angle under water and hydrate them in fresh filtered water so stems can drink enough water. Cut the stems everyday and change water so the blooms can be fully hydrated. Use floral wire to arrange and design bending stems.

  • WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE THE DELIVERY OF LAVENDER? Lavender flowers should be scheduled for delivery two to three days before your scheduled delivery date.
  • HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER MY LAVENDER FLOWERS? We recommend that you order your bulk Lavender flowers at least two weeks before your wedding or event to ensure product and colors availability.
  • Please check your email for your carrier's tracking number. To ensure freshness, please make yourself available to sign for your flowers upon delivery as flowers are perishable and require immediate proper care and handling.
  • Wedding flowers dropped off outside may expose flowers to excessive heat or cold which can wilt flowers. Therefore, Whole Blossoms strongly recommends having someone available to assume receipt of flowers at the time of delivery. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you 1-3 days prior to delivery of your flowers.
  •  Your fresh cut Lavender will be delivered farm direct to your doorstep. Due to flower perishability, your flowers cannot be left outside for extended periods of time after being delivered.
  • Lavender flowers are US grown and shipped directly from the farms. Upon arrival, carefully unpack your wedding flowers and follow the care and handling. Whole Blossoms stands behind freshness and offers freshness assurance upon delivery of flowers.
  • While FedEx is reliable at meeting delivery dates and times, in a limited number of cases, your shipment might arrive 1-2 days before or after your scheduled delivery date due to factors resulting from weather, customs processing times, FedEx flight delays, and other uncontrollable and unforeseeable factors.
  • For latest status on your order, please go to the Track Your Order section located at the bottom of the menu or contact FedEx directly at 1.800.GO.FEDEX  (1.800.463.3339).
