Your bulk IRIS flowers just arrived and will arrive in a closed bud state. Now they need to be hydrated and processed to create your stunning wedding bouquets and centerpieces. All bulk flowers look dry upon arrival and will need to be hydrated.

• Our wholesale blue iris flowers are fresh cut and cast a purple shade as closed buds. During the blooming process, your flowers will assume a lighter, blue color.
• It is important to give your hydrate your bulk iris and most other wholesale flowers following delivery. Depending on the variety purchased, some flowers may need 24 to 36 hours to hydrate and perk up.
• Unpack your wholesale iris flowers as soon as you receive them and cut off about half an inch off the stem at an angle (with a sharp knife NOT scissors). Remove foliage that could fall under water to avoid bacteria to build-in and place the flowers in clean, fresh, warm, filtered water (100F-105F).
• Keep Iris in water at all times. Use floral preservative to hydrate your Iris. If floral preservative is not available, add one spoon of sugar and a few drops of lemon juice to your water. If your Iris flowers are not going to be arranged immediately, store them in a cool location (above 40F) with ample humidity. Replace water and floral preservative every other day to promote a long vase life.
• Iris are delicate flowers that suffer from dehydration and water stress. Keep Iris in water as much time as possible since they need to be hydrated with plenty of water. Iris can open quickly with warm, ambient temperatures. Average vase life runs 4-6 days.
• If your Iris are not blooming quick enough, wrap the top of the flowers in newspaper overnight and use warm water to hydrate your flowers. This will accelerate the opening process.

• WHEN SHOULD MY CUT IRIS FLOWERS BE DELIVERED? We recommend scheduling delivery of Iris to occur 3-4 days prior to your wedding or event. If your wedding or event is on a Saturday, the best day to schedule delivery of your Iris is Tuesday or Wednesday. In some instances, Iris take a couple of days to bloom while several days in other instances.

• HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER? We recommend that you order your Iris at least a month before your wedding or event to ensure product and flower color availability.

• Your flowers will be delivered via FedEx and will require a signature request upon delivery. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you 1-3 days prior to delivery of your flowers.
