Your fresh cut white Calla Lilies will need to be hydrated upon arrival.

• Unpack flowers as soon as you receive them and cut about one inch of the stem at an angle under water (with a sharp knife NOT scissors). Remove foliage that could fall under water to avoid bacteria to build-in and place the flowers in clean, fresh, filtered water (dechlorinated). Rehydrate for at least an hour before using and add floral preservative. If the flowers are not going to be displayed immediately, try to keep them in a cool place (no cooler than 40F) with ample humidity. Replace water and floral preservative every other day to ensure freshness.

• Calla Lilies have a long vase life. They are a very low maintenance flower. However, Calla Lilies stems need to be cut every few days to enable water to penetrate the blossoms. Average vase life: 8-10 days.

• To get the highest durability out of your Callas, make sure to re-cut the stems every 2 to 3 days.

• Note that when the flowers are shipped dry, they may arrive a little limp. They will revive after being re-cut and hydrated.

• Leaving part of the white stem, helps with water uptake and vase life while reducing the chances of stem splitting or curling.

• When storing your flowers, make sure that they are not moved from cold to hot or from hot to cold temperatures since drastic temperature changes will burn flowers.

• When Calla-lilies are left in bacteria contaminated water, the bottom of the stem will become mushy. Be sure to change the water frequently, preferably every other day.

• When placing your Calla Lilies order, choose a delivery date 2-3 days prior to your wedding or event. All flowers included in your Calla Lilies package are premium flowers that were harvested just prior to delivery. For most flowers, 2-4 days are needed for the blooms to fully open. If your Wedding or Event is on a Saturday, we recommend therefore scheduling your Calla Lilies package arrival for a Wednesday or Thursday delivery. Some flowers included in your Calla Lilies  wedding package might be scheduled to arrive the day before your wedding due to shorter vase live of specific flowers.

• HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER? We recommend ordering your mini calla lilies at least two weeks before your wedding or event to ensure product and colors availability.

• Your flowers will be delivered via FedEx and will require a signature request upon delivery. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you 1-3 days prior to delivery of your flowers.

• All flowers shipped from South America or Europe are refrigerated through cold chain management and carefully transported to ensure freshness. Upon arrival, carefully unpack your flowers and follow the care and handling instructions emailed to you after placing your order. Please ensure someone is available to receive your flowers from FedEx as flowers are perishable and require immediate proper care and handling. Flowers dropped off outside may expose flowers to excessive heat or cold which can wilt and/or kill flowers. Therefore, Whole Blossoms strongly recommends having someone available to assume receipt of flowers at the time of delivery.
