Facts: Your Dahlia flowers are packed in bunches of 5 stems and will arrive closed. Hydrate your Dahlias for 12-24 hours before arranging. If your Dahlias stall in blooming, wrap newspaper around them overnight (keeping them in water at all times). This will expedite the opening process enabling you to have open blooms for your flower arrangements. Keep dahlias away from fruit and vegetables since Dahlias are ethylene sensitive.

Carefully unpack your DAHLIA flowers. They will need to be hydrated upon arrival.

• Place your wholesale flowers in clean, fresh, warm water (100-110F). Carefully remove leaves, thorns or foliage that fall under the water level (without tearing the stem skin) to avoid the build-up of bacteria. Cut one inch of the end of the flower stem in a 45-degree angle (with a sharp knife NOT scissors) to allow water to be better absorbed through the stems.

• After cutting the stem at an angle, quickly place the flowers in water since it only takes a minute for the stem to dry and seal up.

• Keep wholesale flowers in a shaded, cool, relatively humid area (if possible under 60F). Avoid placing flowers near hot surfaces or environments.

• Do not keep your wholesale flowers in the refrigerator overnight since many food gases can cause a negative reaction in the flowers.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE THE DELIVERY Of THIS FLOWER?

• We recommend scheduling the delivery of Dahlias 2-3 days prior to your wedding or event.

HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER?

• We recommend that you order your Dahlias at least a month before your wedding or event to ensure product and colors availability.

• When placing your Dahlias order, choose a delivery date 2-3 days prior to your wedding or event. All flowers included in your order are premium flowers that were harvested just prior to delivery. For most flowers, 2-4 days are needed for the blooms to fully open. If your Wedding or Event is on a Saturday, we recommend therefore scheduling your Dahlias  arrival for a Wednesday or Thursday delivery. Some flowers included in your order might be scheduled to arrive the day before your wedding due to shorter vase live of specific flowers.

• Your flowers will be delivered via FedEx and will require a signature request upon delivery. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you 1-3 days prior to delivery of your flowers.

• All flowers shipped from South America or Europe are refrigerated through cold chain management and carefully transported to ensure freshness. Upon arrival, carefully unpack your flowers and follow the care and handling instructions emailed to you after placing your order.
