Wholesale Daffodils
Whole Blossoms Wholesale Flowers offers Wholesale Daffodils, which symbolize rebirth, new beginnings, and friendship and are a popular Spring flower due to their unmatched beauty.  Wholesale Daffodil flowers have a trumpet-shaped structure set against a star-shaped background.  Though their botanic name is narcissus, wholesale daffodils are sometimes called jonquils, and in England, because of their long association with Lent, they're known as the "Lent Lily." Carefully unpack your DAFFODILS. They will need to be hydrated upon receipt.

  • Unpack the flower and remove any plastic or newspaper around the blooms or stems.
  • Place your fresh cut daffodils in warm, filtered water. Carefully remove wilted leaves that might later fall into the water to avoid the growth of bacteria. Cut one-half to one inch off the end of the fresh cut daffodils stem in a 45-degree angle (with a sharp knife NOT scissors) to allow water to be better absorbed through the stems.
  • After cutting the stem at an angle, quickly place your daffodils in water since it only takes a minute for the stem to dry and seal up. *Keep your daffodils in a shaded, cool, relatively humid area (if possible under 45F). Avoid placing flowers near heat surfaces or warm environments.
  • Do not keep your fresh cut daffodils in the refrigerator overnight since fruit and vegetable ethylene gas can wilt or kill flowers.
  • Daffodils excrete a sap that can wilt other flowers if mixed into the same vase. To prevent this, keep your daffodils hydrated and separated from your remaining flowers initially after cutting their stems. Wait 30 minutes then drain out the water. Your daffodils can now be used with flowers provided you do not cut the stems. If needing to, however, repeat the process so that any sap is fully flushed out from the water.

  • When placing your Daffodils order, choose a delivery date 2-3 days prior to your wedding or event. If your wedding or Event is on a Saturday, we recommend therefore scheduling your fresh cut daffodils for a Wednesday or Thursday delivery.
  • Because fresh cut daffodils are harvested just prior to delivery, 2-3 days are needed for the blooms to fully open.
  • All wedding flowers including daffodils will be delivered via FedEx and will require a signature upon delivery. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you 1-2 days prior to delivery of your flowers.
  • Wedding flowers shipped from South America and Europe are refrigerated through cold chain management and carefully transported to ensure freshness. Upon arrival, carefully unpack your wedding flowers and follow the care and handling instructions emailed to you after placing your order. Whole Blossoms stands behind freshness and offers freshness assurance upon delivery of flowers.
  • For latest status on your bulk flower order, please go to the Track Your Order section located at the bottom of the menu or contact FedEx directly at 1.800.GO.FEDEX1.800.GO.FEDEX (1.800.463.33391.800.463.3339).
  • Please ensure someone is available to receive your wedding flowers from FedEx as flowers are perishable and require immediate proper care and handling. Flowers dropped off outside may expose flowers to excessive heat or cold which can wilt flowers. Therefore, Whole Blossoms strongly recommends having someone available to assume receipt of flowers at the time of delivery.
