Your Bell Flowers just arrived! Now they need to be hydrated and processed. It is important to give your wholesale flowers a couple of hours to hydrate and replenish. Depending on the variety purchased, some fresh cut wholesale flowers may need 24 to 36 hours to hydrate and perk up.

CARE AND HANDLING FOR BELL FLOWERS

  • Carefully unpack your Campanula Flowers. All bulk flowers look dry upon arrival and will need to be hydrated. It is important to give your wedding flowers a couple of hours to hydrate and replenish. Depending on the variety purchased, some fresh cut wholesale flowers may need 24 to 36 hours to hydrate and perk up.
  • Place your Campanula flowers in clean, fresh, filtered water and add a tablespoon of sugar per bucket to help your wholesale flowers open faster. Carefully remove leaves, thorns or foliage that fall under the water level (without tearing the stem skin) to avoid the build-up of bacteria. Cut one inch off the end of the flower stem in a 45-degree angle (with a sharp knife NOT scissors) to allow water to be better absorbed through the stems. After cutting the stem at an angle, quickly place the fresh cut flowers in water since it only takes a minute for the stem to dry and seal up.
  • Keep your Campanula flowers in a shaded, cool, relatively humid area. Campanula flowers may be stored indoors with A/C or in a floral cooler above 38F. Avoid placing flowers near heat surfaces or environments. Campanula flowers must be in water at all times until they are ready to be used.
  • Do not keep your Campanula flowers in the refrigerator overnight since many fruit and vegetable gases can damage your wedding flowers.
  • When storing your wholesale flowers, make sure that they are not moved from cold to hot or from hot to cold temperatures since drastic temperature changes will burn your fresh cut wholesale flowers.

  • WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE THE DELIVERY OF CAMPANULA FLOWERS? Campanula should be scheduled for delivery two to three days before your event.
  • HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER MY CAMPANULA FLOWERS? We recommend that you order your Bell Flowers at least two weeks before your wedding or event to ensure product and colors availability.
  • Please check your email for your carrier's tracking number. To ensure freshness, please make yourself available to sign for your flowers upon delivery as fresh cut wholesale flowers are perishable and require immediate proper care and handling.
  • Fresh flowers dropped off outside may be exposed to excessive heat or cold which can wilt flowers. Therefore, Whole Blossoms strongly recommends having someone available to assume receipt of flowers at the time of flower delivery. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you 1-3 days prior to delivery of your flowers.
  • Your Campanula flowers will be delivered farm direct to you. Due to flower perishability, your fresh cut wholesale flowers cannot be left outside for extended periods of time after being delivered.
  • Campanula flowers ship from our farms and are carefully transported to ensure freshness. Upon arrival, carefully unpack your flowers and follow the care and handling. Whole Blossoms stands behind freshness and offers freshness assurance upon delivery of flowers.
  • While carriers are reliable at meeting delivery dates and times, in a limited number of cases, your shipment might arrive 1-2 days before or after your scheduled delivery date due to factors resulting from weather, customs processing times, flight delays, and other uncontrollable and unforeseeable factors.
  • For latest status on your order, please go to the Track Your Order section located at the bottom of the menu or contact FedEx directly at 1.800.GO.FEDEX  (1.800.463.3339).
