Your ALLIUM LAVENDER FLOWERS just arrived and need to hydrated and processed.

  • Unpack your fresh cut Allium lavender wedding flowers as soon as you receive them and cut about one inch of the stem at an angle (with a sharp knife NOT scissors).
  • Remove foliage that could remain under the water line to avoid bacteria build-up and place the wedding flowers in clean, warm filtered water.
  • To maximize flower longevity, store your Allium lavender flowers in a cool location, though no cooler than 40F.
  • Keep your Allium lavender flowers in water at all times for hydration and add floral preservative. If the wedding flowers are not going to be displayed immediately, try to store them in a fresh environment (no lower than 38F) with at least 80% humidity. Replace water and floral preservative every three days to ensure a long vase life.
  • Keep your lavender wedding flowers away from direct sunlight, fruit and vegetables since they are ethylene sensitive.
  • Upon delivery, prepare clean vases or buckets with a few inches of water. Flower food or preservative (or table sugar) can be added to your water should you desire.  Once organized, carefully remove your Allium lavender flowers from your boxes taking care with their large heads. Using floral shears or a sharp knife, trim a quarter to a half inch off the end of each stem under water or running tap water. Then immediately place the freshly cut stem into your water bucket.
  • Allium lavender flowers arrive closed and about one third of the blooms open. As blooms open some of the blooms that opened initially may become brown and dry. Remove aged blooms as part of processing Allium lavender flowers prior to arranging your wedding flowers and bouquets.

  • WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE THE DELIVERY OF ALLIUM LAVENDER FLOWERS? Allium flowers should be scheduled for delivery two days before your event.
  • HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER ALLIUM LAVENDER FLOWERS? We recommend ordering your Allium lavender flowers at least two weeks before your wedding or event to ensure product and colors availability.
  • Please make yourself available to sign for your fresh cut lavender wedding flowers upon delivery as flowers are perishable and require immediate proper care and handling.
  • Releasing signature of your wedding flowers may expose wedding flowers to excessive heat or cold which can wilt flowers. Therefore, Whole Blossoms strongly recommends having someone available to assume receipt of flowers at the time of delivery. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you 1-3 days prior to delivery of your flowers.
  • Allium lavender flowers are shipped direct from our farms and carefully transported to ensure freshness. Upon arrival, carefully unpack your wedding flowers and follow the care and handling. Whole Blossoms stands behind freshness and offers freshness assurance upon delivery of flowers.
  • While FedEx is reliable at meeting delivery dates and times, in a limited number of cases, your shipment might arrive 1-2 days before or after your scheduled delivery date due to factors resulting from weather, customs processing times, FedEx flight delays, and other uncontrollable and unforeseeable factors.
  • For latest status on your order, please go to the Track Your Order section located at the bottom of the menu or contact FedEx directly at 1.800.GO.FEDEX  (1.800.463.3339).
